Dear sports shooters and friends,
We regretfully have to inform you that the 2nd VIKING EXTREME OPEN 2024 at the shooting range in Copenhagen cannot take place this year and on the planned date.
The reason for not taking action is force majeure.
1. Construction modifications are still underway in the individual boxes, which were supposed to be finished by the end of April, unfortunately they still are not and will not be completed by the time of the match.
2. The Danish Police will be testing new weapons on free boxes during our term.
Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about it.
Therefore, according to the rules of the match, we activate rule §16.
The match date is postponed to next year, new Main Match date is July 19 and 20, 2025.
According to this rule, the entry fee is not refundable and is fully transferred to the new date.
We are very sorry to all the athletes, we have to stop all the preparatory work that was in full swing until this time.
We believe we will make up for it all next year at the shooting range in Copenhagen, Denmark.
